The Northern California Megaregion
The Northern California Megaregion (NCMR) consists of the economically and geographically linked regions of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, the Northern San Joaquin Valley (NSJV) and the Monterey Bay Area. The cities and suburbs of the NCMR form an increasingly economic area with a population of over 11.6 million and a gross domestic product of $1.04 trillion in 2020.
